CPSCockpit for iPhone is a little application that emulates a standard single engine VFR Cockpit using the iPhone GPS receiver.

It emulates speedmeter, altitude gauge, course indicator, climb indicator, turn coordinator, a g-meter and position information.

As with all GPS applications, CPSCockpit needs a direct view to the sky,  the less obstacles are in the way, the better it works.

Movement in a general direction is needed for course, speed, climb, and turn indicators. The faster the movement, the better the results.

GPSCockpit must not be used as primary means of navigation. Positioning may be incorrect and any instrument readings may be misleading at any given time.
